To Kalbarri we go

A nice leisurely pack down and a decision to drive to Kalbarri on the coast road meant a stop in Northampton for a quick loo break and a drink.  The service station was right next to a lovely historical building {which I discovered driving past was also the local Catholic school}.  I would have a loved a wander around the building, but alas two small children and a mission meant simple admiration from the outside.

Onto Kalbarri with a drive past Pink Lake {and it really is the biggest & pinkest salt lake that I have ever seen} and a impromptu drive down to Port Gregory for lunch.  What a wonderful spot right on the coast, a true sleepy fishing town.  Down to the Jetty we went where J decided the smalls could have a fish, not that they caught anything but they had a wonderful time nonetheless.

A few stops before we got there to take in the local sites.  It truly is a wonderful looking coast line, all be it a little on the scary side to be standing right on the edge like that.

Onto Kalbarri we head now, perfect time for check in at the Caravan Park and a wonderful way to spend the day.
