Streaky Bay & Sceale Bay{Passing Through}

A hop, skip & a jump and we arrived at Streaky Bay.

What an amazing little town, filled with beautiful old buildings {So many lovely buildings with so many stories and so much history}.  We stopped at the information centre, looked at the amazingly large shark {well replica} that was caught at the local jetty.

A wander around the streets, taking in a close look a the old buildings, new rashies {long sleeved} and some supplies from the shop before we took the back road to check out Sceale Bay.

 Sceale Bay is again another lovely bay and what appears to be a very quiet holiday town.  Heading into the bay there was an impressive fog rolling in off the sea.  It made the air really cool and was something else to see.

Lyndon Station {Working}

Where do I start with this visit?

Alright so as usual Justin worked hard, repairing a verandah, patching 100 year old walls, adding amazing benches to the cottage and too many other things to list.

 We had a very full on few weeks, between school and play the time flew by.

There was painting and dodge ball, motorbike and horse riding, full moons and chickens.
Kaleb and Kyla enjoyed being invited to the SoTA camp {at Wooramel}.  It was great to see them join in the activities with all of the children that they know at the school, along with all of those that they don’t.  It was a real learning experience, for both of them in many ways.

The biggest thing to happen this trip however would have to be cutting off my dreadlocks.  From long hot and heavy locks to short hair is a real change that I see lasting for a fair while.

Donnybrook {Family & Working}

Back again!

Just a really quick visit this time, enough time for J to sort somethings out ready to make the patio and make the list of things he needed for everything else.  We also emptied the fridge, did some schoolwork and PACKED ready for our trip to Perth & then Lombok.

Goodbye Kalgoorlie {Caravan Park - Work}

One thing that I will miss about Kalgoorlie, the amazing sunsets, lovely old buildings and parks.  It doesn't nothing for my desire to have an old house again, to live in something that has character and to show it new life.

There is actually a fabulous looking 'Bank of Australia' building that is for sale in Boulder but sadly not something we would ever consider buying because, well it is in Boulder and that is not really somewhere I would like to live forever.

It is hard to believe that we have been in Kalgoorlie for more than a month, time has flown in one way and dragged by in another sense.  Living in a caravan park for this long has been one of the downfalls, we have stayed places for a month of more before but it has felt different to this. I am well and truly ready to move onto our next location.
