A list {Planning}
At the end of last year, a fleeting thought came across my mind. I jumped at it, discussed it with Justin and it came to this list {well this is version one and I think we might be at version four now}.
WE ARE LEAVING THE STATE, FINALLY!
Alright so it will only be for a holiday, at most 12 weeks exploring some other locations around Australia but it is going to be amazing. Staying a night or two here and there, loads of driving and plenty more exploring.
Just over 10 days to get everything sorted, everything back into the camper {hopefully it all fits} and then we are leaving the station to start our trip.
I can't wait!

The month that was - Karridale {Visiting}
We came over to Karridale to help celebrate a 40th and spend a week. We ended up staying for the entire month and having a blast.
There is one thing for sure we have cemented friendships, met more wonderful people, drunk too much, ate way too much, sewn lots, swan sum, seen some and eaten more!
It has been fabulous and a nice break {even better to have other children to entertain my two for the holidays}.
We did have a few trips away from the farm, my favourite was a leisurely Sunday drive that saw us end up in Ballingup. A wonder through the antique stores {and a purchase of some fabulous containers that match a set my Nana has} was by far the highlight, although if you ask the smalls they would say playing on the playground was the best.
Tomorrow we are on the move, time to 'hit the road' and do some traveling and true free camping. Also time to start back at school for the smalls, Year 2 for my big one and Pre-Primary for the small one {time to find this years bribe to get it done easily and quickly everyday}

Peaceful Bay {Holiday}
Bet you think that I am loopy having 'Holiday' in the title but that is
exactly what this last week was! A fabulous holiday with wonderful
friends. Too little sleep, too much food and way too much to drink
{well and probably too much sun on one of the days too}.
We stayed at Peaceful Bay Caravan Park, the only one in town, made the choice easy. Not somewhere I would stay given a choice given it's facilities {or lack there of as the case may be} but the location was perfect. Was an easy walk to visit our friends and an even easier walk to the beach.

We had a duck pond right near our camp
We even got a visit from a frog {he took residence overnight}
Enjoying a ride around the caravan park
A walk around the 'town'
After a drive to Walpole we stopped at the Giant Tingle Tree to take a look
A trip to the park in Denmark with friends
Even better was the trip to the Chocolate Factory
Of course a picture of the shoes purchased in Denmark
The Toffee Factory provided us with a laugh on the way into their carpark
A funny bus ride into Denmark for the Wedding
And this is why it is called Peaceful Bay
Our final day meant lunch at a Brewery/Winery in Denmark with the Newly Weds
The week consisted off catching up with friends, a purchase of new shoes
{Denmark}, visit to the Chocolate & also Toffee factory{Denmark}, a
trip to the Bird Park {Denmark}, drive to Walpole, seeing amazingly
large trees {Walpole}, Tree Top Walk {Walpole}, a winery visit
{Denmark}, a trip to the beach {Peaceful Bay} and most importantly a
wedding {Denmark}.
Tree Top Walk - Walpole
Somone was a little scared being that high up and seeing through the floor
The holiday is now over and back to Manjimup for some work we go, before a quick concert trip to Perth
