The plan for this return trip was for Justin to finish some work on the house, build some sheds and give a hand if needed.
We had a fabulous time, doing sheep work and watching Ben & Jim doing some shearing. The kids got to ride the motor bike & get crazy rides on the ride on mower {I think Jim had more fun than Kaleb & Kyla}. We had yard work with cattle, feeding them terrible smelling silage & seeing how docile big bulls really can be. A trip to the lease block for a look at the spud plantation & even better a cooling swim in the dam, followed by a picnic lunch.
There was also wrapping of presents, putting up the Christmas Tree {our first while in the camper & traveling} and also preparing for Christmas.
{Christmas & Boxing Day posts to follow}.
All in all our combined time in Manjimup has been wonderful. Getting to know new friends {and their extended families}, working, creating, learning & experiencing.

7th Birthday {Celebration}
I can't believe that my baby, my first born is now SEVEN years old.
How did he get to seven so fast, I am sure that only yesterday he was the not so small baby that made his loud entrance into this world. Only yesterday that he changed our world so quickly & so wonderfully.
He has changed, grown and learnt so much in such a short space of time and he is really no longer my baby boy but just my first born son. A boy, a growing boy and a front toothless boy.
Last picture as a six year old
Thanks to some people I will not mention he was after a motorbike for his birthday. He lucked out and got a motorbike cake instead :) He was pretty chuffed with the effort {and I was pretty happy to have a kitchen at my disposal to make it for him}
We had a stop at the Dorrel lease block on our way out of town to blow out the candles with Ben & his friend before heading off
HAPPY BIRTHDAY LITTLE MAN

Our first traveling Christmas & it was wonderful.
We decided to stay in Manjiup with Jim & his family. After a nice slow morning, all be it early we headed to Kojinup for lunch with everyone {there was lost of small people which my two loved}.
A quiet evening with an early night in bed & our first Christmas was over with. Full of food, laughter and fun.... PERFECT!

Majimup Again {Work}
After our relaxing week in Peaceful Bay it was time to head back to Manjimup for more work before our trip to Perth.
It really is a lovely little spot to park up here on the Dorrell Farm. Lovely location, lovely company and interesting weather. Interesting weather in that this time we have had rain, hail, electrical storm, thunder storm and days of over 40 degress. Makes for an fun time in a camper trailer :)
I love the history that the farm has. The old shearing shed, which was originally the dairy {if only walls could talk}
Justin has been working hard to get things finished before we head up to Perth for flying trip for Missy Higgins. Then you guessed it back to Manjimup as Justin needs to replace the pump shed {I forgot to mention we had power poles fall down, start fires and destroy sheds}
